Multiple tanker accidents in Ojodu Berger, Kara bridge, involving four tankers are causing heavy traffic along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The situation is being managed by Lagos State firefighters and traffic controller, the police, and federal road safety commission to ease vehicular movement.
Details of the incident are still yet unknown but a witness said the fire started after a loud bang.
However, some social media comments reveal that the incident started around 1 am.

A Nigerian man has caused a scene after he found out his Nigerian girlfriend, Lucia was cheating on him The incident reportedly happened abroad. It was gathered that the man had confronted his girlfriend in public after spotting her with another man. The man explained that his girlfriend had told him that she was travelling to Rome to visit her sick brother. According to him, he had even called her earlier after she left his house but ended up seeing her with another man on the street. Lucia denied him claiming she has not met him before.
Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi has agreed a deal to join David Beckham’s Major League Soccer side Inter Miami. Matuidi, 33, will undergo a medical in Paris ahead of completing a transfer to Inter Miami.
