Erica yesterday emerged the fourth Head of House (HOH) in the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ reality show.  She takes over from Ozo, whose HOH tenure elapsed on Monday afternoon. She won the head of house task to emerge as the new head of house for this week. As is the rule, she was to choose a deputy and both of them will be inmmune from eviction this week.  The housemates played a game of dice where they had a minute and 10 seconds each to take steps on the mat. To start the game, they were all expected to roll a ‘6’ on the dice to move, each housemate had less than two minutes to take steps on the mat towards the box that read, Head of House.  After winning the game, Erica decided to choose Kiddwaya over Laycon. Recall that the three housemates have been in a complicated “entanglement” for a few days now with Laycon showing an unrequited affection to Erica.  Erica’s rule will from Monday and end the following Monday.

US 2020: China Interfering Against Trump, Russia Against Biden

worldnews The United States National Counterintelligence and Security Centre has alleged that China, Russia and Iran were interfering in the 2020 electoral process. Director of the centre, Willian Evavina, said in a statement that the findings were part of a report on foreign election interference released on Friday. Mr Evavina alleged that while China was working against the re-election bid of President Donald Trump, Russia was targeting the Democratic Party’s candidate and former Vice President, Mr Joe Biden. He did not specify Iran’s target or preference, but noted that Russia and Iran were engaged in disinformation campaigns. The report comes barely three weeks after Mr Biden said he received a security briefing on plans by the Russians to interfere in the November 3 elections again. Music Legend, Majek Fashek Set To Be Buried In US

Legendary Music icon, Majek Fashek will be laid to rest in New York, United States where he died. Majek Fashek’s first child with his ex-wife Rita, made the announcement in a video shared on Monday August 10. He thanked the musician’s fans and well-wishers for their love and support, and further revealed that they were forced to take the decision of burying the late reggae icon in New York due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Recall that Majek Fashek died on June 1, 2020 at the age of 57 while battling esophageal cancer.
